Supporting Transgender
and Nonbinary Youth

Kristin Fitzgerald-Hill
M.Ed., Certified Coach

Parenting transgender and nonbinary children fills our lives with joy. It opens our hearts and minds. It is cause for celebration. And it can bring its own unique challenges.

Every parent can be more present and supportive of their child

when they have someone who is present and supportive of them.

Connect with someone who understands. Together, we will celebrate, affirm, and learn; become confident navigating school, community, and healthcare; and skillfully advocate for our kids.

Together, we've got this.

You're 100% there
for your child.

Let someone be
100% there for you.

Clients' Experiences

What Is Coaching?

Partnership

Trust and safety are cornerstones of the client-coach relationship. Clients are respected as creative, resourceful, and whole. Clients and coach work collaboratively to guide the work and achieve clients' goals.

Process

Coaching sessions follow a 3-part structure: 1) agreeing on a session objective, 2) evoking insight around the objective, and 3) translating that insight into action by creating action and accountability plans.

Accomplishment

Clients choose an overarching goal to  accomplish during an agreed-upon number of coaching sessions. Each session focuses on a client-determined session objective in support of the overarching goal.

Accountability

Clients develop personal accountability systems they enjoy and  can use with success within and beyond their coaching experience. Achievement of session objectives strengthens clients' sense of agency.
